Act or Not to Act

Discuss inaction. Is one less guilty of a crime if they let it happen but did not take an active role in it? Compare inaction to action---Are there levels of guilt?

           Yes, a person is as guilty if you knew something was happening but he/she did not stop it. For example, if somebody wanted to kill somebody but did not want to do all the dirty work, he would hire an hit man. He/she is still as guilty if they caught the murderer. I believe that there are levels of guilt. For instance, if someone robbed the bank and you were in there, I know I would not be the one interrupting this crime. So, i think it all depends on what the situation is.
